Each task has a Task iCalendar.

This is an iCalendar that has the data for this task and all sub-tasks under it so you can easily see upcoming dates for this task in a calendar view.

How is this useful? If you have used the Task Hierarchy to organize your projects, you can subscribe to the iCalendar of the top level task and use an iCalendar Application to see upcoming dates for that project.
